Greetings your Eminence and fellow AFC Family!
Yesterday we continued our planting of the remaining sandalwood trees. You can witness from the photos a surge of pride and patriotism among the staff and students of the college as they attend to their respective zones of 'ahi' with tact and creativity. They are now taught to talk to the trees and even cuddle them!! The juniors are meticulous with their care of the trees (photos 029, 032).
May I take this opportunity to wish all mothers out there a blessed and joy-filled Mother's Day! Yesterday, we marked the occasion with a meal prepared by the male staffs. You can see from the photo below a few of our seasoned female teachers still looking young and animated!!
