Dear Cardinal Mafi and fellow AFC Family,
May I take this opportunity to extend to you, Your Eminence Cardinal Mafi and fellow Apifo'ou Family, our sincerest gratitude. On behalf of Fr. Lutoviko, 'Etuate, Manoa and the rest of the family, I thank you most sincerely for your prayers and support during these past few days of profound loss and mourning.
Our beloved Mom, Maliana Sisifa Tavo Manu, passed away peacefully after I gave her the ritual of anointing. The last few days before her passing were very peaceful for Mom and likewise for myself. I celebrated Mass beside her bed daily and administered the last rites. Personally, sharing with Mom my gifts of Priesthood was a very profound and fulfilling experience.
Sitting beside Mom's coffin at Church and looking at her peaceful and serene face gave me a few precious moments to reminisce about her selfless love to all of us.
May I take this opportunity to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year!
