Week 1: 21st - 25th April TERM 2

Highlights

• Our humble and deepest condolences to our late Pope Francis, who had been reigning for 12 years since his election and have passed on the 21st of April 2025. We are grateful for his years of service to the church, for our country the appointment of the first Tongan Cardinal Bishop Soane Patita Paini Mafi, and so much more. 'Api Fo'ou put on a black rope around our school out of respect to the Holy Father for his passing.

• Since there was a funeral in the church, we had assembly on Tuesday 5A did a marvelous theme for this week. We are thankful and a Mass was said on Wednesday in prayer for our Holy Father, and our Principal let the school leave on holiday due to recognition of the loss.

• On the 25th is the remembrance of our fallen soldiers who served and died in all wars and peacekeeping operations. The school was represented by Fe'ao-moe-Lotu and the Head Girl and so were the deputies in honoring at the statue at Pangai Lahi.
