Highlights
School normal program continues this week, settling back into class with Form 5 and 6 IAs due this month and some in the next month, students are busy with handling in and collecting their IAs to be checked and ready to hand in to the Education Office.
Wednesday Ms. 'Isitokia Paasi and a team from Christchurch New Zealand Ms. Michelle Withers and four other members Ms. Mccormack, Ms. Tutt, Ms Hollobon and Ms. Watts who has helped carrying this luggage all the way, arrived at Fua'amotu airport with 6 bags of garments as gifts for 'Api Fo'ou girls. These gifts were provided by the Project Uplift (a charity collecting of undegarments for Pacific Island women and girls) as they have done so around the Pacific and 'Api Fo'ou is one of the schools here in Tonga that this project has reach. It is a proud moment for us staff members as we met them at the airport playing a good host and accompany them to their accommodation, but with a little detour around the school's main road. We do look forward for their official welcome next week when they return from Ha'apai Island.
Mass continued early on Friday Morning, and the students to be off to their respectable teams to train. This Friday the male staff members celebrate Mother's Day for all female staff by providing a wonderful lunch as an appreciation for not only being a Mother but also upholding the role in school.
Happy Mother's Day from the Staff members of 'Api Fo'ou to all.
